Gerrard’s Corner, W1

My favourite spot for Dim Sum in Chinatown

Pretty much every restaurant in China town serves Dim Sum, but Gerrard’s Corner is my favourite. It’s usually busy but it’s big enough that you won’t have to wait long, if at all to be seated.

There’s a large range of Dim Sum on offer at Gerrard’s Corner, just tick the ones you want on the slip and you’re on your way. The Char Sui Pork buns were great, as are the Yam CroquettesVietnamese Spring Rolls and Cheung Fun. The Ho Fun with Beef in Black Bean sauce is a delicious accompaniment to the feast.

    Shanghai Dumplings

It’s reasonably priced, as Dim Sum should be and the service is efficient. It’s no frills, traditional Dim Sum in a comfortable setting without a big price tag.
